Effective July 1, 2017, An ordinance of the people of the City of Marina amending Chapter 5.20 of the Municipal Code, relating to the rates of the business license tax.

How Do I Apply for a Business License?

The City has contracted with the HdL Companies to provide assistance to the community during the initial registration period and for continued administration of the City’s business licenses taxes.  The City and HdL are working closely to ensure a seamless transition with little to no impact on our community.

Did you receive a letter dated May 4, 2017 requesting information?

On May 4th, the City sent a letter to property owners regarding the rental or leasing of property.  If your property is leased or rented, please provide the information as requested in the letter.  If your property is not leased or rented, please submit a brief written response stating that the property is not leased or rented, and your property should be updated accordingly in our City records.  In either case, please mail your response to HdL Companies, who is contracted by the City.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and we apologize for any inconvenience.
